I’ve had an interesting past couple of months and been privy to some great cars.
Started out in Ocala, Florida to attend the Don Garlits Florida mopar show, with excellent sunny weather and two whole days of muscle cars – it felt like heaven. This show has grown enormously and is now a major Southern Pentastar past time. With great show cars, survivors, AMC offerings, new Mopar muscle Challengers and Chargers it’s a must-see event. The swap meet is full and then there is the museum of Drag Racing, not to be missed.
From there we headed south to the Bay area of Miami and hung out with the Nauvoo rich and the thirties art architecture, and then onto Key West the Southernmost tip of the USA, Ernest Hemmingway country and the land of convertibles. A great vacation.
Back in the UK, I have been busy with car valuations for several mopars and a C2 Corvette 1967, 427ci. This is a gorgeous car and hopefully coming to the MoparEuronats 2016.
March is here and around the corner will be Easter and the Surrey Street Rodders Good Friday bash at Aldershot, Hants – see you there folks!
