Well the 24th MoparEuroNats has come and gone and I have to say it was a success with some great racing, rare cars and, of course, the Muscle car gear heads – wonderful to meet with so many brilliant people.
The weather could have been better but the show avoided the greatest deluge on Saturday night, although Friday’s cruise – which took us out to Sywell Aerodrome – was well attended but suffered from drizzly rain.
All in all, the weekend went well and we landed yet another great show which saw many new comers and familiar faces – it made for a harmonic atmosphere, everyone grooved to the live music, infact Revolver play Saturday night gave two encores! Plenty of folk from mainland Europe made the trip bringing un-seen cars and adding to the karma of the show. For a full report please visit the Mopar Euronationals website.
Here’s some photos from the car show:
I have been busy with the committee in plans for next year’s 25th bash.
Dates confirmed are:- 27/28/29 July 2018, Santa Pod Raceway, England.
I missed the Brooklands American show but it looked a good turnout. With the announcement by the government to exempt forty year old cars from the annual MOT, I think we will see more classics out and about.
My monthly column published in Classic American magazine has received rave reviews too, with it appearing in the States and all.
Valuations and registrations have been busy throughout the summer and through to autumn. If you would like to book your American car in for a valuation or appraisal, get in touch.
Till next time, keep driving those old cars.
