Hi folks,
Hope all is well.
Not much happened with me since the Chryslers at Brooklands show at the end of May -one of my favourite venues for a car show. I took the trusty Barracuda but she didn’t seem to run right, so have ordered a new carburettor. The show was very well attended with perfect weather and a whole host of gleaming muscle cars. For instance, a great looking 1970 Cuda convertible with an added Hemi engine came along, the car was used in the Johnny Depp movie Dark Shadow. Another odd-ball car was a 1973 Chrysler Valiant Charger with a 225ci six banger from South Africa, I also warmed to a very nice EV2 orange 1970 Challenger R/T.
However, the car that left me gobsmacked was a Chevrolet COPO Camaro, finished in black with a 427ci V8, Muncie manual 4-speed gearbox and 12 bolt rear end. The car that came from Belgium not long ago looked absolutely stunning.
